The Obsession of Obsessions
"Where do I start? I have somewhat of an *ahem* obsession with Phyto-Rouge Shine. All hell would break loose if Sisley ever discontinued these lipsticks. I have this in Sheer Beige (my fave - I have 2 at all times), Sheer Petal, Sheer Rosewood, and Sheer Raspberry. I love them all. The texture is exactly as its described - it's a shiny lip balm in lipstick form, but it's soooo much more. I've tried a gajillion "lip balms" over the years, including Sisley's own little pink pot, which I adore. But nothing, NOTHING, beats the texture of Phyto Rouge Shine. It is soooooo comfortable on the lips and honestly it has healed my lips. I wear this to bed, first thing in the morning, before/after my coffee, literally all day. When I wear it to bed, I wake up with the softest lips. The color is absolutely stunning and after eating/drinking, it looks like a beautiful lip stain. I know a lot of people are fans of the Phyto Lip Twists, which I also like. In comparison, I'd say the Phyto Rouge Shine is a lot more moisturizing and comfortable IMO than the Lip Twists. As the name suggests, it also provides incredible shine, but not in a way where throughout the day, you'll find the lipstick on your teeth or melting down your lips. Its emollience remains, and you can tell upon wearing that these are not "cheap." Ugh. I'm truly obsessed."
