1. What is cryotherapy and how does it benefit the skin?
Cryotherapy is the application of very cold temperature on the skin, either by doing cold plunges or using a cryo chamber. Regarding the skin, it improves circulation, delivery of oxygen and enhances detoxification. Cryotherapy has been recognized since ancient times for its many health benefits to the body and overall improvement of wellness. At 111SKIN, we have recognized these benefits which is why we felt it was important to create a category harnessing the power of cryotherapy.
2. How does the 111SKIN Cryo Revitalizing Moisturizer utilize cryotherapy principles and what are the key ingredients?
We took inspiration from cryotherapy and the benefits it gives to the skin, for instance how it enhances cellular energy and increases ATP levels. We have integrated specific ingredients into this product to mimic the effects of cryotherapy. It contains our patented compound, NACY2™, which is made up of Vitamin C, Escin and encapsulated NAC, to help repair and soothe the skin. Ginseng Compound (a combination of Panax Ginseng Root and Jiaogulan Plant Extracts) boosts blood circulation, enhances oxygen and diminishes puffiness. The product also contains ATP, which provides energy to fuel living cells, Ronacare Ectoin which protects the skin from external stressors, along with 8 different types of Hyaluronic Acid to enhance skin hydration and elasticity.
3. What inspired you to create this product?
The benefits of cryotherapy inspired me to create this product. We wanted to develop a moisturizer that was suitable for all skin types, gave quick and effective results, and utilized the power of cryotherapy to enhance the skin.
4. How should the 111SKIN Cryo Revitalizing Moisturizer be incorporated into a daily skincare routine?
I recommend using the moisturizer in conjunction with our Cryo De-Puffing face and eye masks. The masks are great to use when you want an immediate improvement to the skin to help diminish puffiness and tighten skin. Firstly, cleanse the skin, dry thoroughly, apply the masks for about 20 minutes, followed by the Cryo Revitalizing Moisturizer, which you should apply in an upwards motion starting from the décolletage up towards the face. It's also a great product to keep in the fridge if you want more of a cooling and soothing effect upon application.
5. How does the moisturizer compare to other cryotherapy-inspired skincare products?
